Terms of Service
Last updated June 30, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of corouter, the API service available at corouter.co and api.corouter.co. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
corouter ("corouter," "we," "us") operates an API service that routes requests to third-party large language models and bills usage at outlet prices. The service is available at corouter.co, the console, and the API endpoint api.corouter.co.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service. You are responsible for the information in your account, for keeping your password and API keys confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account or keys.
Notify us immediately at hi@corouter.co if you believe an API key or your account has been compromised.
3. The service
corouter is API-compatible with the OpenAI SDK: you point your base URL at api.corouter.co/v1 and send requests as you normally would. We route, meter, and bill those requests to the underlying model providers. Model availability, capabilities, and pricing may change over time.
corouter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other model provider. Product and model names referenced on our site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification and compatibility purposes only.
4. Acceptable use
Your use of the service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and with the usage policies of the model providers whose models we route to. You are responsible for the prompts you send and for how you use the outputs you receive.
5. Credits, pricing, and billing
corouter is prepaid and pay-as-you-go. You purchase credits and we deduct from your balance as you make requests. There is no subscription. Current prices are published at corouter.co/pricing and may change, with prospective effect, for future usage.
Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem. Charges may appear on your statement as Creem. By purchasing credits you also agree to any Creem terms applicable to the transaction. You are responsible for any taxes that are not collected by the Merchant of Record at checkout.
- Credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. See our Refund Policy.
- Credits have no cash value and are consumed only by your API usage.
6. Availability and failed requests
We work to keep the service highly available, but it is provided "as is" without any uptime guarantee unless we have agreed one with you in writing. Any uptime figures shown on our marketing pages are historical and are not a warranty of future performance.
If a charged request fails server-side (for example, a 5xx error), the charge for that request is automatically returned to your credit balance. This is billing accuracy, not a cash refund — see our Refund Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if your use creates legal risk or security risk for us or others, for nonpayment, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. Where practical we will give notice, but we may act immediately when needed to protect the service or comply with law.
8. Your content and intellectual property
We do not claim ownership of the inputs you send or the outputs you receive. As between you and us, you retain your content, subject to the model providers' terms that govern generated output. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the inputs you submit.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service and all model outputs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Model outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your purpose; you are responsible for evaluating them before relying on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, corouter's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold corouter harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of residence, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence applies instead. Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Creem, whose checkout terms also govern the payment transaction itself.
